Parkview Lodge is a predominantly brick clad building with recessed balconies. Crawford Architecture has applied for several planning applications on the building, making changes to an original planning permission by others to maximise buildability and usability, ensure compliance with the building regulations and increase the number of apartments. This has included an application for a new fourth floor.

The building is set into a carefully considered landscape scheme which blends the site into the historic parkland setting. Special cognisance has been taken of the wall on Phoenix Park Road, which is a protected structure. 

In addition to the apartments achieving A2 BER rating the development also incorporates green roofs and incorporates solar panels.
