Positioned on the edge of Riverstown, The Old Forge is a prestigious residential development comprised of eight new three bed houses, arranged in a stepped terrace.

The houses continue the pattern of development in Riverstown with houses facing onto the main road through the town. Public open space is sited between the houses and the road, giving a generous buffer to the house, and good passive surveillance. 

The houses are traditional in form and layout, with modern, simple detailing and high-quality materials, primarily using a palette of render with aluminium details. Crawford Architecture took a previous permission for the site and updated the design of the houses to modern trends and detailing. The houses will be built using MMOC, featuring offsite timber frame construction and KORE insulated foundations. 

The houses will achieve an A2 BER rating and feature Air to Water heat pumps.
