Belvoir comprises 60 PRS apartments and associated resident’s amenities located on Kilmacud Road, Blackrock. The apartments are spread over two new build blocks and an existing protected structure. Construction was completed in 2021. 

Crawford Architecture were retained by the purchaser, Avestus, to do due diligence and monitor the project on site. Our responsibilities included reviewing and commenting on planning, tender and construction drawings before the project started on site. On site, we undertook regular inspections to ensure compliance with planning, the construction drawings, building regulations and current best practices. At completion, we assisted with snagging, reviewing completion documentation and as built information. At every stage, we liaised with the design team, construction team and suppliers to ensure the best outcome for the client.

Being involved in monitoring projects allows us to learn from many of the best building sites around Ireland and informs our own work.
